Hello, I’m Marion.
I believe the best ceremonies begin with a good conversation.
The stories you tell me, the things that make you laugh, the people you hold close – these are where we begin. I’ll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and find the words that bring it all together.
I bring a calm presence, a love of language and a gentle sense of humour. Whether you’re feeling excited, emotional or unsure where to start, we’ll take it one step at a time.
I’m a Rites & Rituals Scotland Ceremonialist, based in Falkirk and working across Scotland. I’m fully trained and insured, bringing professional, thoughtful care to ceremonies that reflect your beliefs, your traditions and your own way of seeing the world.

Can our ceremony reflect different beliefs?
Yes. We can make space for the beliefs, values and traditions that matter to you and the people you love. We’ll talk about what feels comfortable and meaningful, and shape the ceremony around that.
We’re coming to Scotland from overseas. Can we work together?
Absolutely. We can get to know each other online and plan your ceremony together before you travel. Tell me where you’re coming from, the date you have in mind and the kind of celebration you’re hoping for.
Do we have to include a Scottish ritual?
Only if you would like to. Your ceremony might include handfasting, an oathing stone or a toast from the quaich, or it might simply centre on your story and the promises you want to make.
How do we begin planning a funeral?
You can contact me directly, or ask your funeral director to get in touch. We’ll arrange a conversation about your loved one, your wishes and what happens next. You don’t need a complete life story prepared – we’ll find our way through it together.
How do I find out about availability?
Send me a wee message with the kind of ceremony, your date and the venue or location, if you know them. I’ll let you know about my availability and we can take our discussion from there. It’s fine to get in touch while you’re still exploring ideas.
